1000 years ago, The world as it was known ended.
The world of the Dragons, Aarigyl, was a peaceful place. No war, no fighting, all were happy under the rule of Du and Gwyn, the King and Queen dragons of Aarigyl.
Eventually, Du and Gwyn began to grow old, so they decided they needed heirs to their throne, so they had 6 children dragons. The first was a female, whom they named Dydd, for she was as bright as the very day. The second, a male they named Nos, who was as scary as the Night itself. The third was a female, whom they named Fire, for she had blazing red scales, and could manipulate the fires of Aarigyl with her own willpower. The fourth was a male named Water, who was both gentle and rough like the very ocean, and could control the waters with his mood. The fifth, a female called Earth, who was named for her mental sturdiness of the earth, and the ability to control the sands and rock of Aarigyl. The last, a male named Air, who had wings so large and lungs so strong that he could literally take the breath out of an opponent.
The 6 children grew into powerful dragons of their own kinds, but they also grew power hungry. As they sought power, they eventually began fighting amongst themselves for the Jade Throne of the Dragon Ruler, and so began the Thousand Year War.
Aarigyl, ravaged by a Thousand years of War, was hardly remembered as it was in it's former glory, as the land was divided into 6 Kingdoms, and the dragons moved into their respective rulers' domain. In the time of the war, none of the 6 children managed to capture the Jaded Throne, for they were all so evenly matched that they could never beat each other alone. In their days of fighting, the rulers forgot about everything other than their never-ending war, and so The Old Kingdom of Du and Gwyn was buried under centuries of rubble, along with the great treasures, and the Jaded Throne itself.
Now, 100 years after the end of the Thousand Year War, the Jaded Throne has yet to be found, and the 6 Kingdoms are preparing for war. Will you be the most loyal of dragons, or will you be a traitor to your kind? Decide your fate, and the fate of those around you.
